Post date: Mar 12, 2014 4:35:03 PM

The BBWARM Advisory Committee will host a special public meeting to discuss upcoming stormwater capital improvement projects on March 19 from 6 to 8 PM at the Cannery Day Lodge at Semiahmoo Park in Blaine. This meeting will take the place of the regular March BBWARM Advisory Committee meeting. Please note this is not the regular meeting location. Click here for the meeting agenda. Information will be provided on four different stormwater retrofit projects. The Beachway Drive and Fern/Park Project is scheduled for construction in summer and fall of 2014. The design engineer will review the most current design for this project and be available to answer questions. Information on the Beachway Project will be posted on the Beachway project page. Preliminary design alternatives will be reviewed for future projects in the Cottonwood Beach South and Wooldridge area neighborhoods. Homeowners in these neighborhoods received a postcard notification in early March. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting to learn more about these upcoming BBWARM projects and provide their input early in the design process. For more information, contact Kraig Olason (kolason@co.whatcom.wa.us) or Ingrid Enschede (iensched@co.whatcom.wa.us) at Whatcom County Public Works Stormwater (360) 715-7450.
