Help collect data about amphibians in the Terrell Creek watershed

Post date: Jan 23, 2013 11:40:47 PM

Learn to search for and identify amphibians, egg masses and collect scientific data! Gather information essential to amphibian conservation. BP is using Citizen Science volunteers to perform amphibian surveys on their lands. Get a free one-day training (classroom and in the field) in exchange for your commitment to participate in three half day surveys in March and April. If you are comfortable working in teams in wet conditions, are self-directed and responsible, and are adapted to our winter conditions, this may be just the activity for you. To learn more, visit www.whatfrogs.org (look under projects tab) or contact Vikki Jackson at vikki@nwecological.com/360 319-6988 or Pete Sim at (360) 371-1598. Registration is required for this program, but it is FREE!
