If you're interested in participating in the intertidal monitoring at Cherry Point, please add as many of these dates to your calendar as possible. Expect each survey to last up to 5 hours from start time.
2017 Intertidal Monitoring Schedule at Cherry Point:
• Saturday, May 27th at 9:30 AM - Pt. Whitehorn Park (+ Sea Star Surveys)
• Sunday, June 25th at 9:30 AM - Barnacle Rock
• Friday, July 21st at 6:30 AM - Intalco site
• Sunday, July 23rd at 8:30 AM - Neptune Beach (+ Sea Star Surveys)
And, if you're interested in getting a little more recognition for citizen science participation, consider joining our North Sound Stewards Program. Only 50 hours of training/survey time are required over the course of 12 months and ties you in to other local citizen science opportunities.
