Registration is now open for the 2015 rain barrel workshops.  This year the workshops will be held on Wednesday, March 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Birch Bay Water & Sewer District office and Saturday, March 28 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Blaine Senior Center.  BBWARM and the Birch Bay Water and Sewer District sponsor these workshops every spring with assistance from the City of Blaine.  The workshops cover basic principles of rainwater collection and its benefit to water quality and storm water management followed by hands-on instruction to build and install your own rain barrel.  Each participating household will receive a free 55-gallon plastic barrel recycled from local industry.  The workshops are free, but space is limited to 20 households per workshop and pre-registration is required. Visit our rain barrel page to register on-line or for more information.  Download our event flier.
